Cinderella is the daughter of a wealthy duke who has remarried to provide her with a mother and sisters. When the Duke travels abroad, Cinderella discovers that her new family is anything but a family. With spoiled stepsisters and a harsh stepmother, Cindrella is forced to cook, clean and manage the household. There are other twists to this tale including another villain in the person of the king's right hand who is plotting to take over the throne once he eliminates the prince. After a series of events and stories told, the castle holds a Royal ball for the prince to be able to choose a wife. Every maiden in the kingdom receives an invitation.
